Importing from QuickBooks Using The Export Utility: QuickBooks 2008 or Later (Canada, Australia, UK)
Working Papers imports the full trial balance and general ledger details from QuickBooks files. If you are using QuickBooks Canada, Australia, or UK 2008 or later, you will need to use an export utility before directly importing the exported file into Working Papers. The specific versions requiring these instructions include:

Procedure
If you have a copy of QuickBooks installed and you would like to import a QuickBooks file into Working Papers,

Have your client send you the QuickBooks data file.

Download the QuickBooks Export Utility available on our website to create a QuickBooks export file. The QuickBooks Export Utility is found under Optional Components.
Note: Refer to the Download Instructions for help with installing the QuickBooks Export Utility.

Proceed to directly import the file into Working Papers, following the instructions here.
If you do not have the version of QuickBooks installed on your machine,

Send your client the QuickBooks Export Utility available on our website, under Optional Components.
- Have your client export their QuickBooks file using the utility.

Have the client send their resulting export file.

Proceed to directly import the file into Working Papers, following the instructions here.
