Position the insertion point on the page for which you are employing two-column printing.
On the File tab, click Print, and then click Page Setup.
Under Scope, select the Current Page option.
Under 2 Column Printing, select the Enable 2 Columns check box.
Under Margins, type or select a new page width in the Left and Right boxes.
Click OK.
The columns expand or decrease accordingly.
Notes
You can use paragraph indents to change the column width while maintaining the same amount of white space around the page. For more information, see Adjusting Paragraph Alignment.
