To enter a text value into an alphanumeric cell

1. Position the insertion point within the cell.
2. On the Format menu, select Cell.
3. On the General tab, under Calculation, enter the value you want to appear in the cell. Values must be surrounded by quotes in order to appear correctly, i.e., "ABC Company".

Notes

• To add special characters to the text in an alphanumeric cell, CaseView supports copy/paste using the Windows Character Map. Or, the text can be entered by holding ALT and typing in the character's 3-digit character mapping code.
