About cell events

It is possible to create cells that are programmed to respond to a User's clicks by performing certain actions. Use the Events tab in the cell dialog to assign actions to cells in a CaseView document. Following are examples of events that can occur when clicking on cells in the Form Mode:

Jump to one location or a section in the document
Open a CaseView document of the same or different client file
Sort paragraphs and sections
Apply rounding
Attach style sheets or cell groups to a document
Compare data in two sections or documents
Insert, delete or update a link to a library document
Insert text at a given point

Events permit a User in the Form Mode to accomplish many tasks that do not require a prior knowledge of the intricacies of CaseView.
