When scheduling an unattended execution, a message is displayed that the Data Request cannot be run

Description:

You want to queue a Data Request in the Finish step of the wizard under Schedule an unattended run and a message is displayed that it cannot be executed. One of the following reasons is mentioned in the message:

  1. The file name /AUDIC/SE_EXPORT_FILE is unknown
  2. Error on access to path ...

 

For SmartExporter SAP® components version 7.0.0005 or higher the following reasons can also be shown in the message:

  1. External storage locations are not allowed in the SmartExporter Customizing.
  2. Unsecure protocols for external storage locations are not allowed in the SmartExporter Customizing.

 

Solution:

In order for a Data Request to be queued, the configuration of the Logical File in SmartExporter Customizing on the SAP® system must be correct.

Please contact your SAP® administrator responsible and ask him to carry out the configuration according to the instructions in the Function button Logical File topic or, if necessary, to check the current configuration using this topic.

If the prohibition of external storage locations or unsecure protocols for external storage locations in the SmartExporter Customizing are mentioned as reason in the message, the selected settings in the SmartExporter Customizing are the reason the message is shown. In this case please also contact your SAP® administrator.
