Navigating a Table Using the Keyboard

To navigate through a table, use the cursor keys. In a general table cell, pressing Enter adds a paragraph mark in the current table cell and pressing the TAB key adds a tab within the cell.

Notes

To place a soft line break in a table cell, press Shift+Enter.
When editing an equation in a table cell, press Ctrl+Up or Down to move the cursor to the next table cell in that direction.
