Setting a Tab Marker

1. Drag the pointer to select the paragraph(s) in which you want to set tab markers.
2. To set the tab alignment, click the Tab Alignment button () at the far left of the horizontal ruler until the tab alignment is the way you want it to be.

3. On the ruler, click where you want to set a tab marker.
4. Position the insertion point in the first paragraph you selected.
5. Press the TAB key to align the text or cells under the tab marker on the horizontal ruler.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each paragraph in the selection.
