Adjusting Cell Width

1. Select the cell or column of cells by positioning your insertion point over the first cell in the column, holding Alt and dragging over the desired cells. A blue frame will appear around the selected cells indicating they are selected.
2. On the Home tab, in the Content group, click Cell and then click the appropriate type tab, such as Numeric.

3. From the Cell Width drop-down list select:

   Variable	The cell will expand as necessary to accommodate the contents of the cell.
   Exactly	The width of the cell will not change regardless of its contents.
   At Least	The width of the cell will increase automatically as contents are input, but will not be less than the specified width.
   At Most	The width of the cell will increase automatically as contents are input, but will not expand more than the specified width.
   Column	The cell will be the same width as the column it is located in (for table cells).

4. Type the width of the cell (if required) in the Cell Width box to the right.
