Proven Solutions Accounting (PSA)

Before importing Proven Solutions Accounting files into Working Papers, it is necessary to access the Proven Solutions Accounting program and use the Export module to create an export file. Working Papers can import the trial balance and full general ledger detail or the trial balance with opening entries. The components exported determine what is available for import into Working Papers.

What Proven Solutions Accounting files are required:

File name	Information imported
*.txt	Trial balance and/or general ledger detail depending on export selections.

To import the Proven Solutions Accounting file into Working Papers:

Open the Working Papers client file to which you want to import.
On the File menu, select Import, and then Accounting Software.
In the Import From box, select Proven Solutions Acc. (PSA).
In the Version box, select 4.1 - 5.0. These are the versions currently imported by Working Papers.
In the Import Path box, type or select the exact path where the Proven Solutions Accounting file resides. Use the Browse button to locate the file manually.
Under Import Components, choose to import either the Trial Balance or the full General Ledger Detail, depending on what you exported from Blue Link.
In the Proven Solutions Accounting Text File (*.txt), select the Proven Solutions Accounting file to be imported.
Click OK to process the import.
