Creative Solutions Accounting

Before you begin — DAO 3.6

You will be able to import from Creative Solutions Accounting only when Working Papers detects that DAO 3.6 has been installed on your computer.

Note: Creative Solutions Accounting 2005.4.9. To import directly from Creative Solutions Accounting version 2005.4.9 into Working Papers, the Creative Solutions client files must be decompressed. How?

What Creative Solutions Accounting files are needed:

How to do it:

On the File menu, select Import, and then Accounting Software.
In the Import From box, select Creative Solutions Accounting.
In the Version box, select the version of Creative Solutions Accounting you want to import.
In the Import Path box, type or select the exact path where the Creative Solutions Accounting file resides. Use the Browse button to locate the client directory manually.
Under Import Components, choose to import either the Trial Balance or the full General Ledger Detail.
To import client information, select the Import Client Information box.
In the Select Client ID file (.wsw) box, select the client file by its identification code (base file name). If this box is blank check that the import path (entered above) is correct.
Select the applicable check box to include the subgroup data in the accounting group, or prior year balances, or adjusting reclassifying and tax entries with the import.
For Trial Balance imports, select the applicable check box to import period balances, rather than year to date numbers, into the Working Papers file.
If importing a year other than the current year, type the year into the 4-digit year (default current) box.
Click OK to process the import.
