AgExpert Analyst

Before importing AgExpert Analyst software files into Working Papers, it is necessary to access the AgExpert Analyst program and use the Export module to create an export file. Working Papers can import the trial balance and full general ledger detail or the trial balance with opening entries. The components exported determine what is available for import into Working Papers.
Note: If any problem arises when creating the export .cwe file, contact AgExpert Analyst for the required Add-in to create this file.

To import the AgExpert Analyst file into Working Papers:
- On the File menu, select Import, and then Accounting Software.
- In the Import From drop-down, select AgExpert Analyst.
- In the Version drop-down, select the version from which you want to import.
- In the Import Path field, type or select the exact path where the AgExpert Analyst file resides. Use the Browse button to locate the file manually.
- Under Import Components, choose to import either the Trial Balance or the full General Ledger Detail, depending on what you exported from AgExpert Analyst.
- Select the Import Client Information check box to import engagement properties such as name, address, and contact information from the import file.
- In the AgExpert Analyst Exported Text File (*.cwe) drop-down, select the AgExpert Analyst file to be imported.
- To import prior year balances into the Working Papers file, select the Prior Year Data check box. If selected, any existing prior year data will be overwritten.
- Click OK to process the import.
