To save a permission configuration

Security setting can be saved as named configurations and reused between tables or sections within the current document.

  1. Open Format | Section, select the appropriate section and click Modify.
  2. While in the Permissions tab, click Edit.
  3. In the Document Permissions Settings dialog, click New. Give the configuration a name. Click OK.
  4. Select the desired permissions. Click OK.

Once created, the configuration is added to the dropdown list available in all the permissions dialogs (document, section and table).
