To print preview a document

On the File menu, select Print Preview, or click the Print Preview button on the Command toolbar (). Do one of the following:

Navigate the first nine pages of the document, by clicking the corresponding number to go to that page.

Quickly go to the first page of your document.

Move back in the document one page.

Move forward in the document one page

Quickly go to the last page of your document.

Instantly move to any page in the document by typing its page number. CaseView indicates the maximum page number for each document.

Select how many pages should be visible in the print preview window.

If Multiple is selected in the page view listing, the option to select a number of pages, across by down, becomes available.

Print the document directly, bypassing the standard Print dialog.

Toggles whether skipped text and object should be displayed in print preview.

Set the zoom level to 100%

Sets the zoom level such that all pages currently on display will fit on screen.This allows you to preview an entire page at a time and to avoid having to scroll to the right or left to view text at the edges of the page.

Launch the print preview help.

Close the print preview.

 

Additional options are available under the View menu, such as the ability to toggle the Preview Toolbar, various zoom settings, and the Display Skips option.

Zoom commands

Use this command to control the size of a document as it appears in the print preview screen. You can view the document to make it easier to read or reduce the display to view an entire page. You can view the page from 33% to 150% of its actual size. The default is 100%.

Display Skips

Use this command to view skipped text in the Print Preview screen. Displays all skipping paragraphs marked Hide if show button is not pressed when a check mark appears beside the Skipped text command.
