Save As command

Use this command if you wish to export or save your file with different settings from the default selections. The Windows Save file dialog appears. This command is useful when you can't remember the exact path to the folder you wish to put your file in.

Save in

Select the drive and folder where you want to store the document.

A listing of the existing documents in the selected folder appears below. The files shown are restricted to those of the file format specified in the Save as type box.

File Name

To save the document with a new name, type a new file name.

To save a document with an existing file name, select the name in the list or type the current name. When you click the OK button, CaseView asks you if you want to overwrite the existing document.

Save as type

CaseView selects a default format for the file. Use the drop-down list to select a different file format. As you select different formats the files shown in the folder listing will change.

All Files (*.*)

If selected, the folder listing displays all files in the current folder. Use this selection to view other file formats available or to overwrite a file of a different type with the new document.
