CaseView Help Topics command

Displays the help contents for the CaseView Help System. To access CaseView Help quickly, press the F1 key.

The Help Contents window is an optional aid for finding the step-by-step instructions or reference the required information.

It is possible to search for help in one of three ways.

Contents tab

Click the Contents tab to view the CaseView User Guide. Help items are grouped by subject and the groups appear as books. Double-click a book to view its contents. Print an entire category by selecting the book and clicking the Print button at the bottom of the dialog box.

Index tab

Click the Index tab to see help topics arranged as in a book index. To search for a subject, type the first few letters of the subject. The topic will appear in the display box.

If the expected results are not displayed, the help topic was not indexed by that word. Choose another keyword or click the Find tab for a more in-depth search.

Search tab

Click the Find tab to search Working PapersTime Help for all the topics that contain a specific keyword or phrase. The word or phrase can appear anywhere in the topic, not just in the title.

The Find tab also provides capabilities to customize the search of the Working PapersTime Help system. Click the Options button to display customizing features. Click Find Similar to locate help topics related to those listed in the display box.

Favorites tab

Click to view commonly used help topics which have been marked as favorites. To mark a topic as a favorite, click the Add button on the Favorites tab while viewing the topic.
