You will create two cells, one in the Assets section and one in the Liabilities section of the Balance Sheet. Then you will link these to the bank balance in the Trial Balance database. Assign both to "Negative becomes positive" and then flip the one in the Liabilities section.
The bank balance will display on the Assets side of the Balance Sheet only if the balance is positive. Alternately, if the bank balance is negative, it will display only on the Liabilities side of the Balance Sheet. The result is a flipping of the bank balance to ensure that it appears on the correct side of the Balance Sheet.
