Limited functionality

The following features are not available when SmartExporter is used in combination with the SAP® standard components:

1. SAP® standard components can only be used to run synchronous Data Requests. You are not able to queue a Data Request in the SAP® system.
2. Besides, you cannot view or check the Data Request activity.
3. Using SAP® standard components it is not possible to check the size of a Data Request in the Fields and Filters step.
4. Joins with more than one table are not supported when SAP® standard components are used.

5. To download a Data Dictionary while using SAP® standard components may take several hours.

   Note:

   You cannot pause the download once you have started it and you may not continue with the download at a later time.

 

The SmartExporter user interface uses special icons to mark the features which are not available.
