SAP® Profile Parameters (RSPFPAR)
For the extraction of the SAP® Profile Parameters report, there are two different output formats available, which are shown as tables of the type structure in the SmartExporter Data Dictionary.
Notes for users of the previous version of SAP® Profile Parameters (RSPARAM):
The following notes apply to users who have already used the Additional Data Source for SAP® Profile Parameters with SmartExporter SAP® components 7.0.0009 or lower and the corresponding Data Request templates of SmartExporter 2020 R1.
- The implementation of the SmartExporter SAP® components for the extraction of the SAP® Profile Parameters report and the corresponding Data Requests were conceptually revised. The new Data Requests use the RSPFPAR report (previously RSPARAM was used) and replace the Data Requests shipped with SmartExporter 2020 R1.
Also note that in the Data Requests, the Quick-Filter "Display also unsubstituted?" (P_ALSOSUB) is no longer used and has been removed from the new Data Request templates. When you run the old Data Request this Quick-Filter will be ignored.
- Another change is that the Data Requests for this report have now been moved from the Additional Data Source Reports to the Additional Data Source General, which has implications for delivery and installation. Also see topic
Table | Description |
---|---|
/AUDIC/RSPARAM_PRINT | SAP profile parameter (RSPFPAR) - Printout |
/AUDIC/RSPARAM_ALV | SAP profile parameter (RSPFPAR) - Field List |
Note:
If the tables are not displayed, please check in the application options in SmartExporter whether the correct Data Dictionary has been selected.
The /AUDIC/RSPARAM_PRINT table returns an output of the report on a row-by-row basis. This output is comparable to the Spool output of the SAP® report.
The /AUDIC/RSPARAM_ALV table enables you to extract data on a column-by-column basis. This makes the data compliant with other applications like IDEA.
You can configure the output format using the variants for the RSPFPAR report.
The maintenance of the variants in the SAP® system in the SE38 transaction has to be done by a user with the required authorizations.
The SmartExporter SAP Components\DataSources\General\DataRequest folder contains the following Data Requests which you can import in SmartExporter:
- General - RSPFPAR - Print list
- General - RSPFPAR - Field list
Import the Data Requests in SmartExporter by clicking the Import button in the Run or manage Favorites task.
Please refer to the Notes area in the Introduction step of the Data Request wizard for information on how to use the Additional Data Source.
